Challenge FAQs
1. What activities count in this challenge?
Activities that count towards your distance total are any step activities (walking, jogging or running) tracked from when you join the challenge
2. Why can't I see the challenge in my MyLife app?
If any of your colleagues can't see the challenge they may not have entered the company code - this is available in your company's registration email and should be in your inbox. To add the code tap Settings, Terms and Privacy, Membership. If the company tab is blank they will just need to add your unique company code to join the challenge
3. I don't have a fitness tracker, does MyLife have an in-app tracker?
If you are using MyLife's in-app activity tracker simply go to Track, Walking, Start/Stop when going for a walk or run
4. I have more than one fitness tracker - how many should I connect?
To ensure you have the best experience please have only one tracker connected to MyLife
5. What is the goal of this challenge?
The goal of this challenge is to hit our company (4,000km) & individual (100km) targets by 19th May to be entered into our prize draws
6. Some distances in the challenge look very high - are they accurate?
All distances tracked throughout the course of the challenge will be regularly reviewed and validated
7. How can I track progress for me and my team in the challenge?
Track your progress in our challenge by tapping the Leader Board tab at the top of this screen. Please note our leader board updates at regular intervals throughout the day as opposed to in real-time. If you are checking your progress regularly, ensure your MyLife app and any tracker app connected to MyLife have synced/updated to allow your data to feed across. Otherwise it will automatically update at the end of each day
8. I'm having an issue with my app, is there a support team for MyLife?
If you have any queries please get in touch with us directly by tapping Settings, MyLife Support, Contact Us or by emailing support@mylife.irishlife.ie
9. Is there a daily average you need to track to be entered into the prize draw?
Our company target is to reach 4,000km and our individual target is to reach 100km by the end of the challenge. You do not need to track a daily average in the challenge to reach these targets but we would recommend you keep active everyday
10. The challenge has started but some of my colleagues haven't joined yet, is it too late?
Now that the challenge is live your colleagues are able to join at any point up to the challenge end date on 19th May. Just make sure they use your unique company code to register! Please note only distance tracked after they have joined the challenge will be included in the total.
11. I've just joined the challenge - will my distances tracked over the past few days count in my total?
